My non-post on Oracle Database 11g Release 2

Using the rationale outlined in my prior post, I will not be blogging about the availability of Oracle Database 11g Release 2 at this time. At this time, everything that I know about the new database release was learned in connection with my employer, and therefore my obligations regarding this release rest, at present, with my employer other than Empoprises.

So I'll just note that Oracle Database 11g Release 2 is now generally available (see the Oracle press release), and that customers such as MorphoTrak have talked about it (see another Oracle press release).
