One Sunday morning I went by a Christian church at 9:15 in the morning and saw that the parking lot was nearly empty. Then I remembered that this church periodically had one service on Sunday, rather than its usual two, and that this happened to be one of those Sundays. So instead of a dead church, I saw a sleeping church (since they were sleeping in until 10:00).
As my Facebook friends know, sometimes I'll take a walk during the day. I'll often pass one business in which the cars are double-parked. My walk then takes me to another business further down the street, in which even the reserved spaces aren't all taken, much less the rest of the lot.
