Barack Obama, Sarah Palin, and Barbara Hartwell - how people react to change agents

If you simplify leadership styles, you can come up with two models - the status quo model, and the change agent model.

And these leaders will have enemies.

If you have a status quo leader, then the leader's enemies will rail against outmoded thinking that dooms the organization to destruction.

If you have a change agent leader, then the leader's enemies will rail against the dangerous effects of change - and possibly about sinister, hidden motives.

Two recent examples in my country are Ronald Reagan the fascist and Barack Obama the communist.

Dave Winer captured the initial sentiments regarding the latter:

Imagine being an angry borderline racist Republican in 2009.

Imagine what the black national socialist liberal business-hating Kenyan-born new President was going to do to screw everything up.

Of course, there were supporters of Obama who thought that the world was going to be wonderful and everybody would love us. Well, it didn't turn out that way, according to Winer:

He turned out to be as liberal as George W. Bush and even more in the pocket of the American oligarchy.

Feel disillusioned?

Don't worry -- you have good company. :-)

But Barack Obama isn't the only leader who has been strongly attacked by various people for his views.

Back in June 2006, my Ontario Empoblog contained a post that was, in my own words, "meandering." Part of the post touched upon a feud between Ted Gunderson and Barbara Hartwell, and I quoted from this source:

In November of 1999, I acquired an enormous amount of paperwork from retired FBI Senior Special-Agent-In-Charge Ted L. Gunderson who had compiled box loads of research and had assembled a number of reports in recent years which described unimaginable "operations" of treachery, sadistic savagery, degradation, abuse, and murder caused by intelligence agents of the United States government against its own citizens, especially children.

Before I reprint the next paragraph, just mentally insert all of the "(sic)" indications that are required.

The principle members of Ted's Character Assassination Team include Virginia McCullough, Cherie Seymour, & Kate Dixon of www.newsmakingnews.com, Stewart Webb, Barbara Hartwell, Kathleen Sullivan, Jackie McGauley, and Kathy Kasten of UCLA. These people have tried to characterize Ted as some version of a 'double agent' whose pretense to helping people is just a cover for his 'real work', which is to help the dark side. When you read their defamatory words, you will be given conclusions (E.g. Ted's "Cointelpro") without evidence or proof to back up their assertions. The tools these character assassins employ include repeated innuendo, guilt by association, and outright slander to support their unfounded allegations against Ted Gunderson.

Barbara Hartwell, who was raised in a CIA family and has been programmed under MK Ultra mind control, has established herself as Ted's most vociferous, viscious, and constant accuser. Her wild, totally fabricated slanders against Ted Gunderson are simply surreal and beyond rediculous.

Update April 2005: Hartwell has now added attorney John DeCamp, author of The Franklin Cover Up, to her character assassination hit list. In a recent rant posted on the internet, she actually had the termerity to accuse DeCamp of being a child molester and pedophile. I have a feeling that that the day is fast approaching in which Barbara Hartwell and those web site owners who post her slanders are going to find themselves in a court of law.

That was in the 2005-2006 era. And unlike "Doctor" John Grubor (who I also cited in my 2006 post), who seems to have disappeared, the war between Barbara Hartwell and her enemies is still going on. Here's a March 30 2011 post from Hartwell:

Studer claims that I am a "CIA disinfo agent". He also claims I am a "slut", along with numerous others slurs.

Has Alex Studer ever presented any facts or evidence to substantiate these allegations against Barbara Hartwell? None whatsoever.

So, where does Alex Studer come up with these allegations? What/who are his sources?

First and foremost, COINTELPRO Kingpin Ted L. Gunderson and his lackey, predicate felon, psycho stalker, Tim White. Of course, other minions and stooges of Gunderson are involved as well: namely Todd Brendan Fahey (White's "other half" of the demonic duo), "Xena Carpenter" (one of many aliases used by Todd Fahey; if "she" is in fact a real person, then she is clearly Fahey's female alter ego of choice, a loudmouthed, ignorant, vulgar, bubble-headed buffoon.)

It's interesting to note that Gunderson and Hartwell were on the same team back in 1999:

Ted and I have plans to create a new website magazine: The Gunderson/Hartwell Intelligence Report. We plan to publish articles based on our own research and that of other credible investigators, many of whom have gleaned their evidence from being "on the inside" : ex-CIA and other ex- government agents; survivors of black programs such as MKULTRA, Monarch and Phoenix Projects.

And although these two are clearly not allied today, they do share some similar thoughts about the established government. Hartwell on Obama:

Who in their right mind (and we'll get to that topic later...) could possibly believe that Barack Hussein Obama aka Barry Soetoro --the usurper "president", the Kenyan-born, constitutionally-ineligible, gun-grabbing, community-organizing, card-carrying Neo-Bolshevik; the gay men's club member and morally bankrupt, coke-snorting sodomite; the godless constitution-shredding, hate-crime-law-crusading, Christian-criminalizing, 'healthcare-reforming' pimp, this illegal-alien-pandering tyrant-- would have any motive whatsoever to "battle" the New World Order?

Gunderson:

I am convinced that the FBI today has been infiltrated by the Illuminati, as has the CIA, as has military intelligence, as has NSA. And, I think that our government is being run by the Illuminati. I’ll be honest with you.

Now some will complain about all of the establishment figures - Obama, the Bushes, McCain, and the rest - and look for an outside voice such as Sarah Palin. Not so fast:

While the Post and Newsweek invariably convey a culturally liberal, “politically correct” outlook, often aligned with the Democratic Party—and certainly contrary to what is perceived to be the world view of Sarah Palin—the bottom line agenda for both publications is the maintenance of the American political system as it exists today, dominated by a tightly knit clique of families and financial groups, international in scope, hardly at all concerned with the needs and concerns of grass-roots Americans....

To understand the Post-Newsweek connection to the banking elite is to understand why even an ostensible “rogue” such as Sarah Palin is considered useful to the designs of the global money masters....

[D]espite the Meyer-Graham family’s close attention to promoting the Rothschild-Rockefeller Bilderberg agenda in the pages of the Post and Newsweek, reports about Bilderberg itself never appear in Meyer-Graham publications or in any of the other major American media voices controlled by the inter-connected elite of Bilderberg....

The point of all of this is to demonstrate the nature of the influential corporate interests that are now promoting Sarah Palin. They hardly constitute the “grass roots” Americans that many might believe have fueled the interest in Palin’s political future.

This particular post mentions Ron Paul and Jim Traficant as the true patriots. Not so fast:

The GridKeeper posted a video showing R.P, giving master Mason handshakes and the horned Devil sign.

It is difficult at best to govern a country in which significant people entertain conspiracy beliefs, ranging from the belief that the Hawaiian government actively covered up the Kenyan birth of a small child, to the belief that person X is a secret Mason or person Y is a secret pedophile. I thought that I left all that when I reduced my Usenet activity, but the activity extends well beyond alt.pizza.delivery.drivers. For example, was possible Presidential candidate Donald Trump born in Jamaica?

Now businesses usually will not suffer through the same types of societal divides that nations do - you can fire someone from a business, whereas you can't revoke the citizenship of a birther. But even companies can have problems. Witness what the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has had to do:

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has begun termination proceedings against six deputies who were part of what officials describe as an aggressive group that used ganglike hand signals to identify themselves and allegedly assaulted two fellow deputies at a Christmas party last year....

The deputies worked on the third floor of Men’s Central Jail, where they allegedly were part of a clique that had certain ganglike characteristics, including three-finger hand signs, representing the third floor.

When people who are supposed to protect County residents against gangs end up becoming gangs themselves, and fighting with others in their Department, you know that there are some issues there.

I wonder if the six think that Lee Baca received his police training in Kenya.
