I obviously am not trendy, because TechCrunch was writing about this last November, noting that Pegman has been around for a while, and that he has gotten more conservative over time.
Just like in the old Google Maps, you can now drag and drop the Google Maps Pegman onto any road again and bring up Street View. The only difference is that Pegman now lives in the bottom right corner of Google Maps and not the top left.
However, this is the first time that I can recall Pegman interacting with me in a Clippy-like way. And since this is Google, can we expect Pegman to pop up in all Google products? Will Pegman provide battle tips in Ingress? Introduce YouTube videos?
