At least the Helena GeoDev Meetup attendees will know where the meeting is

The good thing about attending a GeoDev Meetup is that if you're involved in the industry, you should have no problems finding the meetup location.

ESRI recently tweeted about a meetup in Helena, Montana on December 9. The meetup page has the details.

We will be hosting a GeoDev Meet Up on Monday, December 9th in coordination with the 10th Annual Montana Government IT Conference and 2013 MAGIP Fall Technical Session at the Red Lion Colonial Hotel in the Lewis and Clark room. We are inviting software application developers and GIS professionals to attend this event. Food and beverages will be provided at the GeoDev Meet Up. Be sure to bring your business card for the raffle!

This event is a social gathering for developers to discuss the latest in GIS and geospatial technology, geo services, web and mobile mapping apps, app design, cloud solutions or anything else related to solving real-world "geo" problems.

Developers of all levels of expertise are welcome, from seasoned GIS professionals to those new to geospatial development.
